CONSIDERATIONS OF O.E.V.E.M FOR 2013

Volos: 01/03/2013 Ref: 3319

TO PARLIAMENTARY REPRESENTATIVE INDEPENDENT GREEKS
Mr. Terence Quick

CONSIDERATIONS OF O.E.V.E.M FOR 2013

The Federation of Professionals, Craftsmen and Merchants Magnesia. Wishes you a happy birthday. The wishes of all of us is to go in the new year 2013 with health, love, happiness and less trouble, no auctions, no payment orders without padlocks, fewer unemployed, and of course to be given financial incentives on the part of the state to give the possibility of hope but also of everyday sustainability of our business. Please note that you need on your part to press the extent of your abilities the government that the new tax bill is based on a mild and rational management of both the tax and subject to insurance. Not be filed tax bill which gives the possibility of reducing the tax burden of 16.5% to 6% of enterprises existing in Greece SA & Ltd, and of course to attempt a dramatic charge by 50%, 80 % to 420% and the rest (94%) of small businesses. Key features of the new tax is the civil division, depending on the source of income and not its height. The non-taxable limit and the exemptions, even for medical costs for entrepreneurs. Main adverse effects on small businesses are summarized as follows:

1. Remove untaxed € 5,000.
2. Despite government commitments to bill insurance contributions (OAEE) are not deductible (!)
3. Increases in income of 2012 the end vocation. In 2013 the liquidation of the tax return the self-employed will pay EUR 650 instead of 500 who paid this year and businesses will pay 1,000 instead of 500 who paid this year. In business branches end increases from 300 to 600 euros.
4. Dramatic burden by 50%, 80% and 420% for small businesses, which represent 94% of businesses in Greece. Considering the costs of electricity dues increases EETIDE SMEs inordinately bear the weight of fiscal targets for 2013 and especially at a time tested their strength. However, for large AE firms, Ltd. (6% of businesses in Greece) provided tax burden decrease by 16.5%.
5. The only positive, albeit insufficient, the preferential treatment of those young entrepreneurs realize start activity in 2013, and three years for the first $ 10,000 of income will be taxed at 13% rate.

According to the European Commission on 16/01/2012 bill unduly burden small businesses and entrepreneurs who declare their income (not those who report no.)
A) Small firms offered 85% of net job creation in Greece and Europe over the period 2002-2010.
B) Very small enterprises (from 1-9) show the highest job growth in relation to the SA, LLC and SMEs in the EU
C) In Greece 57% of employment is offered by enterprises up to 9 employees.
D) The highest average annual number change (+ 2.8%) located in Greece in small businesses (from 10-49 employees). The corresponding rate of change for large businesses is negative in (- 1.5%) which is the third largest negative after the respective Romania and Malta.

Finally, the new tax bill removes any possibility thinking and development and investment by small and micro enterprises, with obvious implications and jobs.

For our security rights by the OAU has so far sent 95,000 notices and requests within 10 days of receipt to appeal our colleagues to settle the debts. Otherwise will assure arrears through the KEDE (Public Revenues Collection Center), and of course in this manner our colleagues trapped, unable to get insurance clearance nor consider books and records. The proposals O.E.V.E.M. on the pension issue are:

1) Freeze (capitalization) of all old debts and also to empower them by paying a minimum charge per semester to be regarded insurance aware. Especially for the critical 2012-2014.
2) Mild debts settings without down payment and repayment in 120 monthly installments, or mild adjustment with minimum payment of € 100 dose two months after the expiry of two years.
3) Consideration here and now all books of OAEE for at least 12 months.
4) We demand social security clearance to all members to help them run their businesses.
5) There are sectors that need to get insurance clearance to consider their licenses such as for example the sector of public markets.
6) To stop the mockery of the calculation of pensions of successive insurance, and of course to stop mockery policyholders by increasing the age limit.
7) From the moment the OAEE provides no due debts healthcare should remove the amount of 25% to 27% of medical coverage that kept our Fund illegally.
8) Delete all the surcharges imposed on insurance contribution, and of course there needs to be a levy reduction of our fellow members by 30% because the business revenue declined dramatically.
9) Against Hunger pensions that do not correspond to the revenue collected our contributions.
10) To raise the debt limit that exists today from 20.000 € 30,000 for those retiring.
11) Direct activation of the Solidarity Fund is the social helper of each operator, and of course you need to work the unemployment insurance account separately for employees and independent entrepreneurs. For this reason, in recent years our colleagues are asked to pay a special fee to have their own fund in case of unemployment.
12) To integrate immigrants into the formal labor market.

Finally we hope to compete both you as a party Independent Greeks and the government to allow of hope and sustainability for all the world without violence, in peace.

SINCERELY

THE PRESIDENT: Kogias Kostas
THE GENERAL SECRETARY: Poulios Apostolos

SERIOUS CONCERN FOR ANNIHILATION INDUSTRY OF TOBACCONISTS OF GREECE

Doc. Ref .: 574 BOLOS 04/01/2013

TO MEDIA

PRESS RELEASE
Serious concern
DIVISION OF TOBACCONISTS OF GREECE

Dear friends,

The Federation tobacconists Greece wishes you many happy returns for the new year of 2013 and informs you that for a long period of the industry has huge problems of sustainability. We only mention that the profit margin rates on cigarettes and mobile phone cards is 3%, which translates to from 0.08 to 0.10 minutes, and this is the province where the delegation regime operates, and in major cities of Athens – Patras – Thessaloniki status is consistently our colleagues to work with rates of profit margins on cigarettes from 0.04 to 0.06 minutes at no other products such as type, haberdashery, soft drinks, candy and other profit rate is from 0.10 to 0 , 18 minutes understands Make As the great difficulties that exist in both the liquidity of these companies and to be able to keep these jobs of our colleagues self. Everyday we witness close kiosks and colleagues are indebted to the insurer in the tax office in the municipality suppliers banks etc. under this light vortex of great economic and unemployment which needs a rationalization after the existence of bill. In this way, given the possibility of reducing the gap of economic and expensive cigarettes. So the Greek companies are trying to be able to compete with large multinational companies. They lumped irrelevant things in a bill to fulfill their obligations towards the IMF and the Troika, and thus violating the European Community Directives. Unfortunately the whole situation causes sorrow, anger and anguish and of course trying to destroy a large industry. In their effort to liberate the 136 occupations in all sectors not looked neither parameters nor that the existing legal framework will be replaced. They did not consider the parameters Geneva Conventions saying that there can not be a retail network incoherent which is not under the control of the WHO (World Health Organization) nor the following parameters give the possibility of increased smuggling . Geneva Convention 4/4/2012 the draft protocol to eliminate illicit trade in tobacco products of the World Health Organization and referring in particular to Articles 4 and 6 (see. Pages 8, 9, 10 and 11 of the text) which inter alia reads :

• That the Parties will effectively implement measures to control or regulate the supply chain of tobacco products, to prevent, contain, investigation and prosecution of illicit trade and will work together for this purpose.
o (Article 4 – Paragraph a ‘).
• That will take measures to increase the efficiency of relevant authorities and agencies, including customs and police authorities responsible for the prevention, reduction, investigation, and prosecution of illegal trade.
o (Article 4 – Paragraph b)
• That to achieve the goals of the Framework Convention of the World Health Organization (WHO Framework Convention on Tobacco Control), each Party shall seek the authorization of any person or entity that is engaged in:

the retail sale of tobacco products.
(Article 6.2.- Paragraph first)
Indeed, to ensure the effectiveness of such a licensing system is anticipating even for the establishment or designation of competent authorities for the issuance, renewal, suspension, revocation or cancellation of licenses, in accordance with the Protocol and national legislation and also provided guidance on what data They must be taken into account for the selected licensing system.
(Article 6.3 – paragraph A ‘- j’).

So, as you understand, when the global trend is to regulate the supply chain of tobacco products, any uncontrolled “opening” of the profession of tobacconists, will not only be incompatible with international developments but it is a completely irresponsible move that would undoubtedly cause huge damage to the public interest, increase in illegal trade, which in our country is getting rampant and based on surveys that have been published has acquired scary share of 17-19% with consistent a dramatic loss of revenue to the State, and removing substantially the Law for preventing smoking by minors.
The Opinion of the Competition Commission was not and is not in any way for this polynomoschediou, and of course the release.

The unconditional release of tobacconists profession will increase sharply apart from the illicit trade and crime associated with it and the release will hit very significant public health. Today the increase of smuggling is 22%. Nor they looked 3730/2008 Law on Prohibition of Tobacco products by minors. They did everything in great haste in order to clear up a branch while ago had reached 100 years. The goal was how they could sell stores and supermarkets tobacco products, although the products have health interest in some products militate against the existence and operation of the department store. The government did away with unconstitutional manner the stands and the benefit of Article 21 of the constitution, which enabled them to vulnerable social groups such as the disabled and war victims, national resistance, civilian, civilians, many children, the handicapped etc. delivering essentially the municipalities. In this bill joined and the overall tax increase consistently shrinking even further the supply of colleagues tobacconists Greece. Today our colleagues selling tobacco industry products such as hand-rolled cigarettes that their value is at 5 € and the profit margins are at 0.10 minutes, not cigarettes in their growth ranged from 0,30 € to 0,50 € not there was no economic change but instead has been shrinking profit margins, although there was increased taxation and increased end vocation and naturally did not give the possibility of a final discharge of tax liability as to meet one of our colleague all func ‘running costs required to sell at least 1,000 packages of cigarettes. Also to cover their other family obligations requires a commercial profit margin to ensure the viability of the company and of course not to be 2% to 3% today. To date there have been several interventions and of course needs to be done and others to completely free the industry from charges imposed to date. we understand that our colleagues with great difficulty trying to meet the minimum operational requirements. If you continue this tax situation at the expense of our colleagues is mathematically certain that we and others unemployed. Today in the tobacconist industry are about 100,000 families. So we need these small businesses to enable the stimulation rather than extermination. From the industry – tobacconists Treasury expects a respectable amount of duty that will be achieved with this fragmented network and the gateways to insufficient storage.

So therefore there needs to be support for the state that these businesses continue to have viable, but if we consider that they do not need another small shops and tobacconists of course want to get rid of them. The altar of sacrifices in recent years have closed over 7,500 companies, it is clear that in every corner of the square there is a padlock. The fact that in this industry there are people such as the disabled and war victims are our colleagues a few years ago were in the production process, and therefore the enormous industrialization of the few economies were forced to become and trying in one way or with another way to support their family, and the state should have given more respect to unpaid tax collectors this industry. Ignoring the rule affects a sector with a very long history. This branch operates 365 days for 18-24 hours a day and of course performs function as a corner of small shops offering despite many services such as ambassadors of the cities where every tourist draws visitor information wants when they want it. The lights do not stand prevent  violence, and a symbol of national and Greek economy. From 1897 until today the contribution and the contribution of all these people was essential both to our national economy and prevent smuggling. Prior to the extinction of this industry portals should the government leaders to reconsider all these parameters and of course to enable a sustainable solution such as:

The definitive tax exemption for tobacco products and mobile phone cards from the time that the profit margins are so low, you must stop taxing the current coding unit Factor Tables Net profit commercial enterprises.
Establishment of a minimum margin network profit rate for all tobacco products which may not be less than 50% of after tax money, and of course to have a safeguard application to not become like N. 3943 was never implemented.
Redefining and reducing the overall excise duty today is shaped by the analog, fixed and minimum tax and VAT
SINCERELY

PRESS RELEASE

Indignation and remember
RUNNING HOPE SOCIETY.
Dear friends and girlfriends,
The Citizens Hope Movement Initiative inform you that we will present in late November 2012 in both the Supreme Court as well as European Courts lawsuit against those responsible for flagrant violation of human rights, has no political system is the right to suicide for countless debts we have. Not allowed veterans work to get hunger pensions. We may not have insolvent and does not have a primary health care. You may not have tired to study our children to have the necessary labor certifications and the result of that our effort to be unemployment and emigration, and finally not to continue to financially bleed the soul of every Greek our fellow citizens, because the slave markets of the east are over. A few months ago the Greek people gave them the right to manage our destiny if you really can not respond to this purpose then the only good thing they can do is to rid us of their presence. As also observed that for days an undue behavior of MP Golden Dawn Mr Iliopoulos against Anthony KOUMIOTI journalist to inform you that the major channels of power showed almost nothing but 325 kilometers traveled on the long road Volos Athens away from the October 13 to 23 October 2012 in a show of indignation and thymus showed that the single was our jeering by riot police. So the only thing we highlighted the great effort was our regional channels in the area and of course the e-volos.gr which sent a reporter to cover the long and painstaking effort the ordinary people of toil and labor. And of course we do not allow anyone to our manipulation, and neither of course directed against poor people who have a small business to survive. Under weight of this thought and the great pressure we had and we had a large protest march to the Greek Parliament. OEVEM the initiative of and in cooperation with all stakeholders and our fellow citizens, creating the Citizens Movement of Hope. The response of both the operators and society in our journey was very long it seems that the word hope disturbed the family peace since government with which we arrived after 11 days we were greeted with jeering riot. Colleagues can not go we must begin a scaling constant struggle but not with the old forms until today we did and new forms of struggle that have efficacy if we do not do is mathematically certain to perish all of wretched human society unemployed veterans of slavery and of course the small and microenterprise. We now have to inform two political leaders and we talked to all parliamentarians of parties, I believe that the coming week we will complete the update process of political leaders. I also mention that until this moment have been prepared us around 3,500,000 members and stakeholders as we expect support from European Unions and the Diaspora. The meeting to be held in Brussels at the end of the month we will have counterparts in our European Trade Union activist effort.

Enough ENOUGH.
We asked him to get out
